The Workplace is the place to beAs the rain continues to pour down it’s hard to imagine that only a couple of weeks ago were taking photographs and basking in the sun at the Workplace allotment. The Workplace is a Nottingham based day service for people with learning disabilities providing work experience and promoting self-advocacy. I definitely had a severe case of allotment envy as it has everything you could wish for : potting benches, poly tunnel, seating areas, raised beds, chickens and even a couple of compost toilets. It was obvious how much everyone there enjoyed working on the allotment and this really shone through in the photos. We’ll be using the photos in the new Workplace brochure and the group has also given permission for some to appear in our new image library.
