There are many changes taking place behind the scenes which will result in a new look website for Crocodile House.

We’re wanting a look which represents our core business of Health and Social Care photography and design so it’s time to say goodbye to the stretchy balls and embrace a new look.

There’s also many changes going on at Crocstock Images (our health and social care image library) which will greatly improve the site.

The Final awards of the year for Crocodile House were the Midlands CIPR PRide awards in the category of Best Use of Photography or Design. With stiff opposition we came away with a Silver and the memories of meeting Kris Akabusi! List of all winners here.

You Can’t Win Them All

Crocodile House was shortlisted for yet another award, this time at the CorpComms Awards, in the category of Best Annual Report – not-for-profit & public sector, but unfortunately we didn’t win this time. We were up against stiff opposition from the likes of the BBC and St John’s Ambulance (eventual winners) so we’re very proud to have been shortlisted.

We’ve now got the Chartered Institute of Public Relations awards to look forward to on Friday night…Fingers crossed.

Success for Crocodile House

The Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust Annual Report 2009/10 has won Best Annual Report at the 2011 Communicating Health Awards run by AHCM (Association for healthcare communications and marketing).

The report was designed by Crocodile House and also uses our photography to capture the theme of Involvement by showing people from the Trust (staff and service users) holding up the pages of the report.

Awards Shortlist Announced

A report created by Crocodile House photography and design has successfully made the shortlist for the prestigious Chartered Institute of Public Relations awards.

The Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust Annual Report 2009/10 has been shortlisted for the Midlands CIPR PRide awards in the category of Best Use of Photography or Design.

Commenting on the PRide shortlist, Jane Wilson, CIPR CEO said:

The CIPR PRide Awards celebrate the best PR and campaigns from the profession across the UK. To be shortlisted for an Award demonstrates exemplary achievement, impact and value – immediately putting their work in the spotlight.

The judging process is rigorous with a national panel of industry experts assessing the shortlisted entries and choosing the winners.

We’ll find out how we did on December 2 at the Pride Awards dinner at the Birmingham Hilton.

Back In Business

After much tinkering we’re glad to announce that the image library is sorted so we can now add all those images we’ve taken over the summer.

We’ve got loads of learning disability images to add and a particularly great set of a young woman with her support worker out and about in the city centre.
